L'auteur-compositeur-interprète Randy McGraw, originaire de la Péninsule acadienne, lance un nouveau single, One Kiss Away. Randy est passionné de musique depuis son plus jeune âge. Il jouait de plusieurs instruments de musique et a toujours voulu en faire son métier. Depuis quelques années, il écrit des chansons pour éventuellement sortir un album avec ses compositions.

Après son apparition à la populaire émission québécoise La Voix à l'hiver 2023 où il a fait retourner les 4 coachs avec son interprétation de la chanson populaire d'Elvis Presley That's Alright Mama, ainsi que sa participation à Star Académie 2025, cela lui a donné encore plus de raisons de vouloir continuer à travailler sur cet album et de partager le fruit de son travail avec ses nombreux fans. Son plus grand rêve est de vivre de sa musique, de jouer sur les plus grandes scènes du Canada et des États-Unis ainsi que partager la scène avec ses artistes country préférés tel que Matt Lang, Keith Urban et Tim McGraw. Dans un proche avenir, il aimerait aller à Nashville, capitale de la musique country et visiter Graceland, résidence de son idole Elvis Presley. Il prévoit sortir un prochain single le 15 juin prochain, une chanson qu’il a écrite pour sa fille, à l’occasion de la fête des pères et espère lancer son premier album ou EP en 2026.

Inspiré d’un moment inoubliable de ma vie, j’ai écrit cette chanson en 2023, un an après avoir demandé la main de ma fiancée, Isabelle, lors d’un concert de Luke Combs. J’ai voulu capturer notre histoire qui a débuté comme un véritable coup de foudre en 2021. Le titre One Kiss Away évoque l’idée que vous ne savez jamais à quel moment tout peut changer pour vous. Pour moi, ce fut une rencontre amoureuse qui a transformé ma vie à un moment et un endroit où je ne m'y attendais pas. J’ai voulu créer une chanson upbeat, idéale pour l'été, à écouter en roadtrip ou en bateau ! Je voulais raconter notre histoire d’une manière à laquelle chacun peut s’identifier.

He plans to release another single on June 15, a song he wrote for his daughter for Father's Day, and he hopes to release his first album or EP in 2026.

I wanted to capture our story, which began like a true whirlwind romance in 2021. The title One Kiss Away conveys the idea that you never know when everything can change for you. Forme, it was a romantic encounter that changed my life for the better at a time and place I least expected. I wantedto create an upbeat song, a perfect summer tune to enjoy on a road trip or on a boat! I aimed to tell our story in away that anyone can relate to.
